Experience
Before founding Bell Injury Law, Peyton worked at a boutique plaintiff’s firm that focused on catastrophic injury and death cases, including auto product liability, defective medical devices, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and intentional torts.
Peyton started his legal career working at an insurance defense firm, where he gained valuable experience defendants on behalf of insurance companies. That unique background gives Peyton a substantial advantage when handling claims for injured clients as he can anticipate how opposing counsel will try to defend a case.
Education
Peyton is an Augusta native and active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, State Bar of Georgia, American Association for Justice, and a graduate of the University of Georgia Law School.
EXPERIENCE
At Law School, Peyton served as a legal extern for Western Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Lawton E. Stephens, competed on the Georgia Law Mock Trial Team, and invested his time as a research assistant to several professors.
RECOGNITION
During law school, Peyton was elected President of the University of Georgia’s Graduate Student Association. Peyton also earned the annual William King Meadow Award, which honors the law graduate who best exemplifies the integrity, sense of responsibility, and high standards of the legal profession, with the keen sense of humor necessary to afford a proper human perspective to resolve legal problems.
